In August 2012, i came up to JHB from PMB to speak to a consultant at Liberty Life regarding the lifting of a cessation on my Life Policy. I spoke to a consultant re: my particular query. The gentlemen at the front desk then referered me to the Manager, Mr Themba Sithole. My Life Policy was innitialy ceded over to City Finance Corporation. The loan is fully paid up, and the policy returned to me. Since then, City Finance Corporation has closed down. I have explained all this to Mr Themba Sithole, he then said that i must contact CIPRO/CIPSA to get a letter to state that the company has been de- registered. After numerous attempts to get a hold of CIPRO/CIPSA over a 7 month period, I have been unable to get a hold of CIPRO/CIPSA, needless to say even after trying to personally find them in Pretoria to no avail. I came up to JHB yet again and visited Liberty Life and explained to Mr Sithole, the option of me trying to obtain the letter has been unsuccessful. Mr Sithole point blankly refuses to assist in contacting CIPRO to obtain that letter. I have explored all options, and find it really disturbing that Liberty Life is not willing to go the extra mile to assist me as a client.
