I went to Capitec to increase my personal loan because I have a problem with my. Anyway, the system indicated that I could increase my loan with over R20 000. I thought I was responsible and only took R5000. Now that my car is fixed, the amt is a lot more so I went back just to hear that now all of a sudden Capitec won't help me at all, and 5 days ago they were prepared to give me over R20000.
I don't get it how me trying to manage my debt responsibly, count against me and now they turn their back. Even though the consultant tried his best, obviously the person on the other end of the line didn't even tried to help, it was just sorry nothing we can do.
My circumstances did not chance in 5 days, my credit risk didn't increase.
Now I'm stuck and what must I do now? I'm now forced to apply at another bank and whichever one of them help me first I will support and move all my business to them because this is just unacceptable to me.

And nobody told me that when I take out a loan with a bank, that it would affect my credit rating negatively at that same bank.
I needed that loan today, not in 2 days or something, so hopefully one of the competition are willing to help.
