I applied for a multi loan and it was approved for R4100. I signed the agreement and left. Went to the atm but there was only R420 available, went back to the bank and consultant told me it was a system problem and it will show after 24 hours. Monday 29-04-2013 i went back to the bank, they told me it was a general problem and other people where also affected, i should come back after a month and re-apply. The next day 30-04-2013 i went back to the same bank but a different consultant, did a multi loan and it was aproved for R3900, i signed the agreement but no funds available this time, consultant tells me i dont qualify for anything now because of my credit record and affordability check. This after the loan agreement/contract was signed by me and the consultant (not a pre-aproval but a loan agreement). I asked the consultant for a letter explaining hat happened, they say they dont do letters. Over the last 5 days i interacted with two consultant and two managers. Each giving me different info but not one of them apologised for my inconvenience. I will not advise anybody to do business with capitec bank
