BE WARNED CAPITEC DOES NOT REPORT ACCURATE INFO TO

I had a loan with Capitec, which was paid up on 1 of February 2013.

I obtained a credit status report from Compuscan on 27 June 2013. The report indicates that I have a loan with Capitec and that I am 1 Month in arrear with payment thereof.

After querying this Compuscan, they reported that they only report on the info that as provided by the Bank.

I then queried it the info with Capitec on more than 1 occasion on 2 July 2013.

I confirmed with Capitec's credit/ loan management that;

1.) I DO NOT OWE ANYTHING ON ANY LOAN EVER TAKEN UP WITH CAPITEC.

2.) THE ACCOUNT IS NOT ACTIVE - IN FACT HAVE NOT BEEN SINCE 1 FEBRUARY 2013.

3.) THEIR SYSTEM DOES NOT REFLECT AN ACTIVE LOAN ACCOUNT ON MY PROFILE.
To state the obvious, I do not have an active loan account therefore; I do not have an active loan and therefore cannot owe any thing to the bank let alone be in arrears with any payment!!!

Capitec could not explain why they provide the ITC with info that does not reflect the same (THEREFORE FALSE) nor could they explain why they can't rectify the position.
