Terrible service and false advertising

Decided to move to FNB. They advertise that you can easily apply for a bank account online & that they will move all your debit orders to your new account themselves. Since opening the account I have experienced nothing but severely bad service.

After not hearing anything from them after my online application. I went into Gezina branch to open a gold account personally. They told me that it is better to move my debit orders myself as they are unable to. Three days later I collected my card and activated the account. I transferred all the cash from my old account into the FNB account. Only to discover 4 days later that my FNB account had not been activated and all my money is stuck in the pipeline and inaccessible.

Recently I found out that they had not opened me a gold account as originally requested. Now I have to re-open the account with a new debit card and move my debit orders AGAIN!!! They phoned me and asked me where they can deliver my new card. Since neither my work or home is convenient for delivery, I requested they deliver my card at my branch. This apparently is also impossible to do.

Moving to FNB has been the most inconvenient experience of my life!
