Misleading BMW Care and Cosmetic Repair Insurance

I took the BMW Care and Cosmetic Repair insurance for small scratches and dents when I bought my car in 2011. Early this year I scratch the bumper, sent a claim through and got it assessed as instructed. I then requested the assessor to check the whole vehicle for other scratches and dents. The assessor other scratches and dents in various places and included them in the quote as well. The claim was disputed on the basis it was greater than R3, 000 (i.e. R23, 609.96) which is the maximum amount allowed per claim. I argued that the quote comprised of individual claim aggregated and that each claim must assessed individually, a view that was dismissed. It was also said that I will no longer be allowed to claim for any of the items on the quote in future.
Does this really sound like I had Care and Cosmetic Repair insurance? Clearly not, I was merely mislead and sold something that was designed never to fulfil its purpose by putting terms and conditions intended to reject claims. I have since cancelled my insurance but I insist that BMW pays for my claims prior to my cancellation due to misrepresentation.
