I called FNB this morning to make a payment arrangement on my Smartspend loan as I am going on maternity leave & would not be able to make the whole payment. i was bluntly told by an incompetent call centre agent that FNB does not allow payment arrangements & I would hav to continue making the whole payment or I would fall in arrears & receive a bad credit listing. this after I am already paying more than I should monthly due to a another incompetent agent cancelling my debit order when all the should've done was move the debit order date. i have already paid an extra payment where I should'nt have to make up for the payment that was missed due to FNB cancelling my debit order. I am applying for a new cheque account at Nedbank & closing all accounts I have with FNB as they are utterly useless. Their customer service is apalling & I cant fathom why anyone would even consider going to them.
