Nebank's False Advertising

In 2010 I opened three Pre-Paid accounts for the staff on our property as Nedbank advertised these accounts with no bank fees especially no bank fees for EFT payments to these accounts! As the landlord pays all salaries via the internet this sounded great as the staff earn very little and would not be able to afford normal bank fees. From the first salary Nedbank charged a cash deposit fee which I immediately reported and was reimbursed a couple of times but then a year later after having addressed this problem on numerous occasions with NO satisfactory answers I was told that Nedbank would no longer reimburse the bank fees!
I tried to address this problem again today and got through to Wesley in the Nedbank IT department and was told ofcourse these EFT's will be charged as a cash deposit fee as the landlord uses another bank. Nowhere in any of the brochures or the web site does it say anything about that. Surely this is FALSE ADVERTISING!
I would like to warn all clients and future clients to be very careful as to what Nedbank advertises as it is not always true!!! They are also not very customer friendly as I was told to do what ever I wished to do with a shrug of the shoulder!
