I recently had a at my home on the 27th Jan. Windows and aliminium bars were damaged which resulted in me putting in a claim with Std bank. They subquently put me through to the contractor[Raizenburg Plumbing] whom would be assisting me with this issue. The contractor came to assess the damage on the 31st Jan. As im a customer of std bank, i had not recieved any follow up call from the bank nor from the contractor up until yesterday (8th feb), when i followed up with them. i am especially on leave to resolve this and return to work on the 14th Feb. 9 Days have passed on from the 31st Jan and no work on the broken structure has taken place. I do hope that Std bank follows up with the contractors come monday morning and makes sure work begins on the 11th Feb and is completed by the 13th Feb. Its the least they can do to make sure they retain their customer. I bet there competitors do not offer this type of service. I will post a follow up on Wednesday in order for people to see if this complaint turns to a compliment.
