I went to african bank on the 02/02/13 and i qualified for a credit card limit increse on my credit card i currently have on my account, because it was a Saturday there were unable to confirm my employment and in that case i did not get the funds, the same day of which am fine with that and i understand. On Tuesday the 05/02/13 i went called the call centre and was advised that my credit limt was increased and received the confirmation sms. That same day i tried to use the card at a petrol station and i got an error massage on my card that the card is invalid or the account type is incorrect. So i went to the branch on Wedneday to enquire and i was advised that they need a copy of my id book plus proof of address for FICA purposes the whole FICA process takes 48 hours.its now Friday and the card still not working what does one do in a situation like this, AM BROKE and I went to the bank because i needed help and not be thrown from Pillar to post. On my pay day the are the first ones to debit my account and i do not throw them around. I WOULD NEVER EVER REFER SOMEONE TO AFRICAN BANK AND AM GOING BACK TO THE RANCH TO CANCEL EVERYTHING.
