Went in on Thursday to African Bank, they took my payslip and on Friday when I called them were informed that I qualify for loan and credit card. Signed contracts for loan and credit card, even did the activation of the credit card over the phone. Cannot use credit card yet and still no payout on loan. Phoned call centre on Saturday and they said they must still confirm employment. Phoned again this morning around 11H00 and employment must still be confirmed. I applied for this loan because I need the funds urgently. How long do it take to confirm employment?
