At the end of april I tried using my Afbk credit card &was declined, I fone the AFBK call centre, and was advised card had expired & had be issued a new card, was told to visit nearest AFBK branch with my ID and proof of address not older than 3 months. I had a trip to Lesotho and knew that needed the funds on my credit card. She entered my details and told me I qualified for a R4500 loan. I told her I didnt need 1 but would come to her should I need a loan and I would refer ppl to her. She issued me a new card, took a copy of my FICA documents and told me the card should be working, I went to try and use the card, still it was declined. She told me that card would be active in two days. When I got to Lesotho, used the card after 4 days, still was being declined, the funds in that card was what I depended on. Wen I was back in SA, went back to her and she told me my card had warmed and that it was done by head office, MAYBE because I was in arrears. I have never missed a payment and there wr funds avail. I demanded to speak to headoffice (call centre), was advised that she needed to make 2 copies of FICA documents, still she didnt wanna own up or apologise 4 the mistake
