My daughter's bank account had a hold put on it, meaning she could not use her bank card to withdraw money but she could use it to swipe.
- I went into the bank in 2012 to query this, there was no reason why this should've happened - it is a savings account for a minor! I was told by La Lucia branch that the account need to be FICA'd.
- Following this I went in to the branch with the necessary documents to FICA the account and was told that I need to have my daughter with me in order for them to FICA the account.
- So in 2013 I took my daughter in with me to the branch to FICA the account, only to be told that the account was FICA'd. The problem was that there was a suspected trnasaction on the account. The branch could not help me to resolve it and they said I must phone the line - they gave me a reference number.
- So today I phone the line, and I am told they can not do anything. I need to order a statement for 2012 when the transaction happened and then send it to them so they can verify the transaction.
DO YOU NOT WORK IN THE SAME BANK? And I have to pay for a statement? This service is shockiing and appalling, and all because you put a hold on.
