Homeloan switch application not going anywhere

Decided to try move my existing bond to FNB due to the frustrations with current bank and all the hype about how good FNB is.

Tried to get hold of "Steve" but was later contacted by Pearl. Very eager to assist and prompted me regularly for outstanding documents, etc that was sent in January. All was going fine until my spouses Permanent residence has become an issue. This has been explained over and over again to them and also the fact that we were able to get a full bond on the property from another bank previously with her only being a temp resident and me a citizen; so it should not be an issue with them.

The matter was escallated and I did not receive feedback for weeks even with regular attempts to enquire about the status.

The matter is now apparently been given go ahead to be processes and I now wonder how long that is going to take.

My experience has certainly not been one of a bank that is innovative and efficient.

Having an application declined is one thing but knowing that your application cannot even be processed by a "market leader" with international accolades, is just mindboggling.
