We had trouble to pay our full monthly payments. The bank contacted us and ask if they can assist us to sell our house. We agreed and they said they will assign an agent for 3 months. A week before the 3 months was over an agent contacted us. He also did nothing to assist. We ask a local agency to sell our house and they did sell the house in mid December. When the attorney request the settlement amount from the bank they informed him that the house was scheduled for auction on the 30th of January 2014. We as owners of the house was NEVER informed about this. He sent all the proof of the sale to the bank as well as the guarentees of the buyer. Great was our surprice when the auction still took place. The house was sold for almost nothing. Who is responsible now, we are not accepting this because the house was already sold. How can they sell the house to another person if the house is already sold and the transaction was ready to go to the Deeds Office. We held the bank responsible because nothing was done by the bank to stop the auction after they received all the necessary documents that the house was been sold.
