The last couple of days a friend of mine asked me to assist him, to pay someone else, as he doesn't have a ABSA account and he didn't want that person to wait for the money to clear.
So what he did was, he paid money into my account to transfer to this other person, but as I got to my pc, to do the EFT transfer, BOOM!!! -R4 000 from my account. Now this all happened on the 24th of January, which was last week. I've called everyone on ABSA's side, I can think of, they all just say, "sorry sir and there's nothing we can do"
There wasn't even the slightest notice that ABSA was going to withdraw money from my account, AND R4 000!!! This is ridiculous and pathetic!
Now this friend of mine wants his money... WHAT DO I DO!?
No wonder so many people switch to other banks.
