Me and my friend opened a Stokvel account at Absa. Now is the time to get the money back. We went to a branch to put a 32 days notice, and also asked the consultant to add the account numbers which we would like the money transferred to. He said that was not possible we have to come and withdraw the money at the branch, hard cash!!! What an inconvenience!!! We have to go the branch again to get the money. Then deposit it back into our respective accounts, which our banks will charge us for such transaction. We cant carry that large amount of money around! Or should we simply switch to FNB... maybe?
