Glad I am with "beep" bank

Wow, I closed my account at FNB about 35 years ago and today was happy I did so. My mother needed to collect her new credit card and as she is 87 years old asked me to fetch it for her. All she had to do, according to one of the FMB employees was write a letter, have her ID book, and have my ID avalible to present to the person behind the counter. Ha!! no such luck, I need power of attorney they said. Why, when mom phoned
did they not tell her. I need to bring her in to the branch so we can organise the paper work to be signed. If it was so easy I would have just brought her in to collect the card herself... Lots of money wasted on your " Mike " ad... you guys!
