I decided to use my ebucks today and arrived at an ebucks partner store with ebucks card in hand and pin ready to make my first in store transaction. My card declined after 3 attempts so I call the call centre number to seek assistance. After holding for 18 minutes I hang up and call FNB instead only to be told that the ebucks call centre is closed on a weekend and therefore nobody is able to assist me.
Why is it that the ebucks call centre places customers in the call centre queue when they are closed instead of mentioning on their prerecorded message/queueing system about the trading hours???
Consumers shop 24 hours a day and especially on weekends! This is highly frustrating since I changed banks specifically for the rewards of ebucks.
I want clarity regarding why my card didn't swipe!
