I took a loan with African bank about 6months back... a decision I regret to this day!!! I agreed on a contract that they must debit on the 25th of every month, and they seem not to understand dates. In December 2013 they debited their premium on the 13th, affecting my credit standing with my bank. They repeated again on the 23th of December, the 1st week of January 2014, 2nd week, 3rd week and again on the 24th. They debited less than we had arranged and their date is again wrong. This is besides the arrangement I made with them on end of December 2013.Their call centre agents are unqualified if they cannot understand basic english, arrangements or a simple calendar! I am now in arrears with my favourite bank ABSA because of this crab and nonsense of a bank called African Bank, obviously undermining Africans!! Utter nonsense of a BANK, I do not recommend anyone, no matter how desperate u can be, never use it!!!
