Unjustified Debit Order - No Authorisation Granted

On Friday the 19th September 2013 my bank account was debited for an amount of R217.63 by African Bank, I did not authorise for this debit to come of my account as my debit date is the 1st of every month and as always my monthly instalments are R830.27. On Saturday morning as this was when I had received an sms from my bank notifying me that my account was debited, I immediately called African Bank to enquire why my account was debited, unfortunately the consultant could not assist me and was only told this after I had explained myself to him, I was then asked to call the collections department, spoke to a couple of agents and then it was decided that a credit will be issued as no calls or arrangements were made for a supposed arrears. On Wednesday, the 25th I spoke to a Manager Siyabonga who was not helpful, not customer centric at all, who advised me that no refund will be done and that African Bank has every right to debit my account without my authorisation. according to my knowledge if I set my debit date as the 1st then that's the only time it should be debited, not whenever they feel like. I have tried to get this matter resolved and nobody can assist. Please resolve!!
