I received an sms from African Bank to state that they would be taking my debit order off on the 14th December due to company pay date changes, I promptly called African Bank as I would only be getting paid on the 24th December. My contract also states that my debit orders only come off on the 29th of the month therefor they cannot take my debit order off on the 14th!! We then came to an agreement that they could take the debit order off on the 27th for december only. I received an sms from African Bank to confirm this as well. African Bank, the liars that they are then took my debit order off on the 13th Decmeber!!! I now have a negative balance in my account, so not only did they lie, my bank will now charge me a further R51.00 for insufficient funds. A week before christmas and i have NO money and I am a single mom!!! I HATE AFRICAN BANK! NEVER TAKE CREDIT WITH THEM! THEY WILL YOU OVER ALMOST EVERY MONTH! THEY HARDLY EVER TAKE MONEY OFF ON THE AGREED DATE!
