Good day! I have had the pleasure of speaking to your consultant/s in the claims department who has informed me that the HOC I have is for the house structure only and everything that is attached to it. So when I put in a claim for a bath that is leaking, or toilet pot that is rusted, etc. because of leaks - Is that not attached to the house? And if no, have I been doing my number 2's in the air this whole time and did not know? I want someone to explain to me in detail why my claim was rejected. You sent out your assessors who confirmed that it will be done and then I get a call saying it was rejected with no further detail. Surely your consultants should have said that you do not accept such claims?! Why is it that you still sent out assessors who confirmed it will be done?! Or is it that with all the funds you receive from working class people you somehow still sit with incompetent staff, who don't know products, procedures and explanation? Could your staff really be that uneducated to put yourselves in a position of liability? I don't think Absa is that dumb but maybe you can explain when you call me.
