On 28/11/2013 my alarm, gate motor and internal lights were struck by lightning. I informed ABSA Home Owners insurance and submitted my claim. First response from ABSA was on the 12/12/2013 saying that the claim had been forwarded to the assessors on 06/12/2013 and they would contact me. To date the assessors have not contacted me and I have had no further contact with ABSA. This is unacceptable, especially at this time of year when crime is at it's peak
