Is Ordering a Smart Device Smart

As I am usually impressed with FNB's excellent service, I decided to take them up on their Smart Device offering. I ordered an Imac via my online banking profile.

Within 3 working days an agent contacted me to inform me that my application was approved and to get my delivery details to ensure I would get my delivery. The agent informed me that I would get an sms with the details of my delivery the same day and that my new Imac would be delivered within 5 working days.

So yesterday (after another 4 more working days), I decided to call the Smart Device Call Centre as I have not yet received my sms. After speaking to one agent and the next, I was informed that everything was in order and my device will arive 5 working days since the previous call.

So today it is the 5th day and I still haven't received my Imac.

FNB I understand that their is limited stock and that you guys are overthrown with applications, but I really think you should improve tracking application and delivery processes.

Remember an informed client is a happy client.

Hope I get my Imac sooner than later.
