I was offered car insurance by Blue Mercury Trading cc an accredited Discovery Broker, when I took an motor insurance with discovery non of the parties informed me that I needed to take my car for assessment but they were happy to debit the premiums. In December my car was involved in an accident and after I put a claim through I was told that they will not honour the claim because the car was not assessed, despite me calling them to a roadside assist twice and their technician coming to my house to install a tracking device, so three people working for discovery know my car and have seen it I was told they will not honour the claim this leaves me furious that it seems insurance companies will find any reason not to "HONOUR" claims.
After doing my research I learned that it their duty to notify me of any outstanding documentation but no they wait until there is a claim shocking.
