Hello Peter, I am greatly disappointed with Discovery Insure. June 2012, I was lure into joining them from Outsurance. I have claimed twice or 3 times and these claims are 3rd party claims. When I was approached by Discovery Insure. I was asked indeed if I have claimed in the past 3 years. I remembered responding that I and 3rd party related claims.
To my surprised, I was in an accident December 2012, and lodged a claim in January 2013. Discovery Insure decline my claim, claiming that I did not disclose my past lost. Since they believe the claim is more than what I have paid so far. They decided to cancel my policy and refund all the premiums. I have paid thus far.
I believed this is a slapped on my face. I do not have no reason to about my past claim as I was not searching for insurance. The Discovery Insure agents phoned me to make me an offer. I considered Discovery Insure because, I have medical aid with Discovery Health and life cover with discovery life. I thought Discovery Insure will just be as perfect as one of those.
Everyday I looked back, I regret leaving Outsurance.
Please offer necessary assistance or advise to help me out of this mess.
