Tracker system failed to retreive data

If your Tracker system cannot retrieve data for a certain period, and you need it to submit your tax return, DO NOT BELIEVE Discovery Insure when they tell you SARS will accept a letter from them and then calculate an average for you for the missing period!! I spoke to Discovery Insure management and staff who informed me of this. I have just sat down with a SARS representative who informed me that this is not possible! Keep a physical log book and do not trust ANY Discovery Insure representative!
