My VW Scirocoo was taken in with an engine problem. VW then sent a quotation to Motorite detailing the extent of work to be done, giving 2 options, to either repair, or replace the engine.
The quote identified numerous parts to be repaired / replaced, and over many weeks, many tests were done at the request of Motorite. Among these, a request was to have the injectors tested. The test results came back with 2 words 'Injectors Faulty' - nothing more!
Motorite then used a loophole within the Warranty and rejected the claim. They provided speculation that it must be the injectors that caused the failure (with no concrete proof) and my warranty will not cover in this event.
I raised these concerns and was advised that 'they are unable to assist further'.
I am utterly shocked and disgusted by this! I've had warranties before, and have known good service with the benefit of doubt been given to the client. This is not the case with Motorite!!
