I had purchased a used vehicle from a dealership in George a while ago and took out a Motorite plan for added protection. The vehicle started giving me problems after the first month that I had it, the internal radiator broke, I took my car in to Ford who then tried to claim the part from Motorite, which refused the claim (I later read in the booklet that the internal radiator is not covered by Motorite). I paid for the damage then myself.2 months after that incident, the car broke down and again I had it towed in. After assessment, the Ford engineers discovered that a part, which is supposed to be covered by Motorire, broke on the engine and prohibited waterflow to the engine which caused the engine to overheat and lead to the irreparable damage to the engine and requires a new/re-manufactured engine to be fitted. The claim was sent through to Motorite and they agreed to pay out a claim of R4500?? while the damage on the car is R44 000! which is utterly ridiculous!! That does not even cover the labor!!
