On the 01.01.2014 at about 19:21 i went to a standard bank atm in Welkom to draw cash. As i put my card and requested for a pin i then put my pin number and having done that my pin number was visible something that has never happened before. I was with a friend at the time she said i must quickly cancel and take are, tried but machine swallowed my card. I then used my friend's husband phone to call standard bank and went through the department and was given a reference number: 3366154, at no point did i move from the atm.

At 19.23 got an sms notification showing that the was a withdrawal of R5000, i quickly called them again and the agent said the card is not blocked but he will do it. My claim has been declined as they say i took time to call which is so not true. I have dis organised, stressed as i had saved this money for stationery and school fees, did not buy presents for my kids Xmas and New year.

Please help am willing to take a sector test if necessary. The agent said he suspect the atm was tempered with and i asked from which atm was the money drawn as i did not move from the one my card was swallowed and he said it was a different atm. Please help me.
