About 3-4 weeks ago, my card got swallowed at the Route 21 Cornwall Hill Engen Garage ATM - I called the call centre where i got assisted by Mapula who stopped my card and the following day I went into the Midrand branch and they issued me with a new card. Awesome service - quickly sorted out!.. But this evening, after work I stop at the Shell Garage in Jean Ave to put in petrol and decide to quickly draw some cash at the Std Bank ATM - apparently now I have no accounts linked to my card, after I drew money there last night?! I tried my card in the machine 3 times, each time - same response after entering my pin... Okay, so in the meantime, the petrol attendant has filled up my car, and I now need to pay him... My card was declined twice?! So we went into the garage's store - again declined!!! Knowing full well that there is money in my account! I had to phone and get someone to come out and assist me with paying the garage for filling up my vehicle!? But I have no accounts linked to my card...??? Thanks a million guys!
