I recently changed to a regular Gold Value Bundle and also applied for a gold credit card. As I went through the time consuming process I asked the sales consultant "What are the costs involved? " every time before approving anything. Before applying for the credit card I asked again "What are the costs involved? " and she said it costs R21 p/m. After receiving my credit card there was a R135 deduction on my credit card. I went to the branch and they said it is an initiation fee. I then asked how and why this was not brought under my attention during my application period and me asking "What are the costs involved? " repeatedly. A manager was required to settle the issue but no manager was on duty so now I have to wait until who knows when for the problem to be resolved. I just feel that when asking "What are the costs involved? " repeatedly they must bring these kinds of things under my attention as this is really unacceptable. If this issue is not resolved A.S.A.P. I will move my accounts elsewhere where they care about their clients and aren't trying to rob me and have better client service.
