RICA process hampering transacting on account

I'm flabbergasted at ABSA service as we (Myself-8701085787088, Pule-8703175352088 & Thabo-8705165234085) went to Brits Branch on saturday (11/01/2013) to transfer money (R8300) from our social account (9229199122) and only be told the account is dormant and can't withdraw even when money was deposited during October-November 2013. We then agreed with the branch to request Head Office to re-open the account and I alone will come back to branch on the 18/01/2014 to withdraw money into my account as per ABSA internal transfer slip signed by all 3 parties on the 11/01/2014. Thabo stays in Cape Town and Pule stays in Free State due to work commitments and our next meeting together will be during April 2014. Now I'm being told I can't transfer the money into my account due to ABSA RICA process even when I have the other partners proof of residence with me. It's funny that all three of us are banking with ABSA in our private capacity where we are RICA'd. Kindly close this account as it is troublesome to us to transact and transfer the balance (R8628.96) in our account evenly to all 3 parties ABSA individual accounts and they will reimburse me for the costs I incurred in our trip
