Faulty Internet banking

I tried to create a beneficiary on my ABSA Internet banking, at another bank (FNB account). ABSA then told me the account is closed. I phoned FNB, and they said that the account was indeed open. I contacted my friends (also ABSA clients) and they said that the account was working correctly. I phoned ABSA again, and after more than 30 mins on the phone, I still was not able to transfer the money. It is now a day later, and I am still unable to transfer the money.
