In December Nedbank failed to debit my account for my personal loan.
After receiving an sms refering to 'arrears" amount, I called them and teh agent who assisted me, said that she could not see why the debit was was not actioned for the month of December, and that it had been a system error. She said that she had made an arrangemenrt to split December's debit order over 6 months.
At the end of January Nedbank double debited my account with December and January's debits. This was contrary to the arrangement that was made, as a result I had too litle money left to pay my bills.
The repercussion of this is a negative affect on my credit rating, as I naturally have other payments that have not been made.
I called Nedbank and intially the consultants were very unhelpful and almost rude.
I then went into a branch and was advised to call the complaints center., which I did and was assisted by a helpful day called Shireen, who said that she was going to forward it for investigation.
That was last week, and they still have not called me.
I understand that they are busy but how much of investigation needs to take place? i need to pay some bills? And what about my credit profile?
