I have been trying unsuccessfully to cancel a debit order, listed on my statement as FONE SURE CC.
1) I did not sign up for this service. It was 'automatically' provided through Cell C.
2) I no longer have access to the email address that was used to deliver my 'policy', so I have no way of knowing what my 'policy' details are, where to contact them, and what the procedure is that I need to follow.
3) This debit order has been going off for 3 or 4 years. I have even tried to cancel it through my bank, but they 'are not able to do so, unless I can provide proof that I have cancelled it with the service provider.
4) The amount is R44 - not a huge amount, but R44 too much for a service that I have no use for, and that I did not sign up for.
Please help me rectify this ridiculous situation.
