I have sent a fax requesting my policy to be cancelled on the 25 of August, when I called the call centre a month later I was told that the fax was not received and that I should re-send it, I then asked the call centre lady if I can perhaps send an email so that I have proof of this, she then kindly gave me the email address. I sent an email on the 25th September to request the cancellation and I never received any feedback from Avbob. I just called the call centre and they have confirmed that they received my email, but problem is it was not signed. The lady that assisted me previously did not tell me that I need to actually sign a letter and attach it. And now they tell me that they have already submitted the debit order transaction and in order for me to cancel the debit order I have to contact the bank. Why is it that I never got any feedback from Avbob notifying me that I need to send in a signed letter? And now for another month a debit order is going to go through.I have been trying to cancel this policy for 3 months now. I am happy to keep my old policy.
