M&F policy has insured my cars for 30 years, first claim 6 months ago. Retail value dropped R4100 in six months had to fight to get extra as car was in excellent condition. Check retail value of vehicles every 6 months, adjust premium, they dont.

Original quote for repairs R15000 more than revised one from same panel beater. Given no option to get another quote. Make sure you insist on that option.

Car removed to SMD in Durban without our permission so not able to remove personal items. Sent off change of ownership in good faith still waiting for documented proof. Getting documents from M&F is so painful. Insist on all documentation, it paints a clearer picture. I have been promised my personal items would be returned to me for 2 months by 3 people, still waiting! Suddenly my policy does not cover loss of goods from car, really!!

Note!!! M&F no longer covers the car sound system unless specified - news to me.

First house break in in 16 Years, 6 weeks to settle claim for 5 items, prepare for delays.

My time is also important, all the kind phone calls and promises are appreciated but when there are no results and communication ignored it leaves a very, very off client.
