My husband and I are on holiday in Malaysia and even after letting absa credit card division know that we will be using our credit cards overseas they went ahead and blocked BOTH credit cards! We still have 2 weeks left in langkawi and Singapore and AbSA insists that nothing is wrong with our cards, when in FACT neither are working at any if the banks here in Malaysia as they've both been blocked!
Appalingly bad service and we are at our wits end as no one at absa card division seems to care that we are stranded without cash. My husband is a platinum credit card holder and is outraged by this poor service!!
