Blocked credit card due to your incompetence

I have called ABSA credit card division this morning as I have tried to use my credit card, which has available funds, but it was declined. Upon calling you people, you advised my that my card was blocked as it was not fica'd. Honestly this service is disgusting!!! how can you block my card without notifying me of this & secondly, I picked up my card on 7 February 2013, why didnt the teller DO HER JOB CORRECTLY and take this information from with me, which I had. I had to face embarrasement twice as the card declined due to you, ABSA, blocking my card without notifying me. I have no time availble to stand at the long que's in the bank to update information that you lacked to obtain from me. This type of service in unacceptable. I would like to be contacted regarding this matter as I am not prepared to go back to your branches with incompetent staff.!!!
