Very slow service in opening an account

Since the 1st of Nov 2013 I have applied for an FNB Business account online with the option of having the company registered. After going to 3 different branches with no great assistance I had to just deal with the call center. After 2 months of having the account opened, it is yet to be activated because verification has not been done. For weeks I have been trying to get through to this verification dept, but no luck. The response I get on email is that they tried to call me and my phone was off. When I have specifically mentioned to them I'm outside South Africa and gave the number I'm available on. I'm not sure if this is ever going to happen. Seems to me the online processes don't exactly work with branch walk-ins because I had to submit my proof of residence each time as it was not on the system. Just wondering if should have just gone to Cipro myself.
