Paid off my loan on 23/12/2013 well in advance.did this at a branch with written proof of settlement. On 26/12/2013 fnb deduct a further installment. Called the personal loans dept on 27/1/2013 spoke to shaun he advised that I would receive a refund within 48 hrs. Havent received my refund as yet. Called the dept again on 06/01/2014 spoke to puseletso she gave me some story about the fact that 48 hrs have not lapsed since my call to the 06th of Jan... I mean really excl weekends and public holidays it has been 4 days. Nevertheless she told I would be paid by Tuesday 07/01/2014. It is now the 08/01/2014 still no payment. If this is how I am treated for being a good customer I will take my business elsewhere. Pathetic service! What kind of systems are place? I paid the loan in full, why was that not communicated to the relevant department and why must I now make more than one call to resolve their error.
