Paid off my loan on 23/12/2013 well in advance.did this at a branch with written proof of settlement. On 26/12/2013 fnb deduct a further installment. Called the personal loans dept on 27/1/2013 spoke to shaun he advised that I would receive a refund within 48 hrs. Havent received my refund as yet. Called the dept again on 06/01/2014 spoke to puseletso she gave me some story about the fact that 48 hrs have not lapsed since my call to the 06th of Jan...I mean really excl weekends and public holidays it has been 4 days. Nevertheless she told I would be paid by Tuesday 07/01/2014. It is now the 08/01/2014 still no payment. If this is how I am treated for being a good customer I will take my business elsewhere. Pathetic service! What kind of systems are place? I paid the loan in full, why was that not communicated to the relevant department and why must I now make more than one call to resolve their error.
