I received an sms on after 7am in the 1st January saying my outsurance payment has gone off successfully and I had a few Rands left in my account. After 7am on the 2nd I get an SMS saying my insurance was unpaid and I had way less in my account because the bank now charged me R138 for the unpaid debit. I immediately called the manager who was on leave at the time as this has happened twice to me before and she helped me. I was transferred to Anisa Joubert who says its because I do swipe purchases that this problem occurs, even though I still had funds left. I received a call from her today 7th Jan saying she has issues reversing the R138 because of the call centre. Now firstly, I had to call her back numerously as she never returned my calls. She is aware of me wanting to close my account but I am waiting for the R138 which FNB wants to make off their clients. Seriously was happy with this bank until this unpaid started and I always has funds in my account. This is not fair. I want this sorted so I can close my account, my kids and my husband can find a bank that doesn't pull strings like this.
