I lodged a few complaints with standard bank in Nov '13, and asked them to correspond in Afrikaans. An English guy emailed me back a few times, but was not competent enough to resolve any of my queries... And no one has phoned me for assistance yet. I have been with them for almost 8years, and they have been taking an overdraft protection fee since the beginning- I do not have an overdraft!!!
I have changed my cell nr at the branch 3 times already, but the OTP's still goes to my ooold nr that is now missing... When I complained about it, they told me to go change it at the branch, which I don't have time for and have done 3 times.
We went out for dinner in Nov13, I checked my balance beforehand and paid by card. They charged me a penalty fee at end of Nov because there wasn't sufficient funds in my account, why will I pay with my card if I know I don't have any money??
They charged me another amount in Dec, I didn't even bother to check why.
I am so fed up by now.
Is this how they treat a paying customer of 8 years?
