I called for an obligation free quote but the adviser was very persuasive and handled 4 of my objections and I eventually took the policy as it sounded very good. He gave me the option of 100% cover or 50% but at no point was I advised that I was not getting comprehensive cover and that my Audi would only be covered for accidental right-off and not personal damage or accidents under R5000. I then received my documents 2weeks later and read it thoroughly as I always do and discovered that I had insufficient cover. I then called their client service on the 20th December and spoke to Thumi and I requested to cancel my policy. I also sent an email requesting cancellation and then a few hours later I received an SMS confirming that my policy is now cancelled. Yesterday the funds of R1300 was still deducted from my bank account. I emailed and then called and happened to speak to the same adviser "Thumi" and she now informs me that it takes "40days" for them to process a refund or I need to take this up with my bank!!! She then apologizes for not informing me on the 20th December 2013 for not informing that the funds will still be deducted.
