BAD SERVICE AT CLEARWATER MALL

I was so excited to change banks for the first time in 23 years to FNB. Upon arrival at the branch I was assisted by the banking hall assistant who had been extremely helpful in ushering me to the end of the que in a very busy branch where we needed to wait for consultants to assist us. Never the less the manager took over the assistants role and only offered assistance to african people only. He then showed a gentleman (who had several applications from various banks in his hand to open an account) to the area and said that he would be assisted next! When I raised the fact that there is a que the manager belittled me in front of a jam packed branch and said that, that doesn't matter as the gentleman was there earlier and he is to be assisted first. I anticipated in having all my eggs in one basket as I recently purchased my car which was financed through West Bank and received good service and that was my whole reason why I wanted to change banks. My daughter is in the process of opening a BEE compliant business and I had also recommended that she open her business account with FNB. Oh really now if that is the service we receive do you think it is really viable to do so??
