I work in the CBD in cape town but I always do my very best to avoid going to the Capitec branch in Adderley street Cape Town. What I can do in 15 mins at any Capitec branch they take x3 longer and considering this is the heart of Cape Town and this is where most people come to employment, you would think their service would be most upbeat! I have been to this bank at least x5 and on each time I have never been assisted with what I wanted.

The consultant who assisted me today with trying to activate a Multi-Loan made me wait an hour, walking backwards and forward to her manager asking for information on how to process things and whether my documents or information on my account were legitimate! She made me feel so uncomfortable and after an hour, away from the office, she told me she had done errors and needed to redo the process! Worse of all she blamed on me as my bank statement made no sense.

She was very unhelpful and made no effort to assist me. This is not the first time I have had this experience and it bothers me as I am a client should be treated with dignity and care. I am definitely considering shifting banks and until then I am never going to that branch!
