I've been banking with FNB for over 20 years and have four accounts currently open with them, including my business account. I applied for a bond with all four major banks and according to my bond originator, 2 of which are prepared to give me the bond and FNB just declines it on the basis that they not giving bonds to Self employed business owners. It's not a big bond and They've been making money out of me for years and can't help out the 1 time i ask. My mother was an ex FNB employee for over 20 years, my father and sister also banks with them. I'm extremely upset and i'm definitely going to move all my accounts to which ever of the other 2 banks I decide to go with and will never recommend anyone opening accounts with them.
