Took a saving policy in august with standard bank, was told by sales agent that should submit my id copy, proof of address to branch before they deduct my account but to my surprise my account was debited without any documentations, i didnt mind mind because i wanted the policy. In november had personal reasons and decidedd to cancel the saving policy.i think my account was debited successful twice, third debit was not paid, went to maponya mall in november to cancel the saving account and take my money i know there are penalties if you cancel before the saving matures, at maponya mal the tellers didnt know how much the penalties are, they guy the reception said its R200, fine got my money, very poor service at enquries they are very slow and need traing.two weeks later get a statement that didnt reflect the amount a was charged as penalties, called the call centre the agent didnt know, put m on hold for 5minutes still didnt know, i asked to speak to a team leader was put on hold for 10minutes supervisor is busy cannot take my call (Alida), was told i will get an emaiil within 7days showing the penalty fees, its been 3weeks, no call, no email, standardbank cannot proof bank charges, unfai
